In the same year, he completed an Advanced Training Programme for the PMP certification issued by PMI. During his maritime experience between 2011 and 2012, he trained other employees and taught them Italian and English language.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Additionally, he was one of the officers responsible for the abandon ship procedures. Therefore, Denis received the award as “The Excellent Supervisor” issued by Johnson & Wales University in conjunction with Costa Cruise Lines. Costa Cruise Lines also recognised his advancing for excellence with HACCP Plus certificate.

 

He entered in the register of Marine Department of Italy from 2011 to 2016. Previously, he completed Specialised Marine Training in Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, First Aid Onboard Ship, Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities, and Personal Survival Techniques.

He got a Master of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics with a major in Maritime and Port Economics after accomplishing a specialised 4-year course from the University of Genoa in 2009. The business project for this degree was about “Seaborne trade to the Horn of Africa: Ignazio Messina & C. S.p.A. case” under the supervision of Professor Antonio Gozzi.

 

His educational background includes a diploma as an Accounting Analyst with Computer Management and another diploma as a Data Processing Operator.
